Shri Neiko Akami

Born on the 16th of March 1971. Obtained LLB in the year 1996 from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. Completed LLM in 2018 from Global Unversity, Dimapur. Enrolled in the Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh in the year 1999. Practiced in District Court as well as in the Gauhati High Court. In the year 2009-2013 served as a Counsellor in Family Court Kohima. Direct recruit to Grade I in May 2013 and served as District Judge in Zunheboto, Mon and Dimapur. Has also served as Special Judge CBI and NIA Court Dimapur. Served as Registrar of Gauhati High Court, Kohima Bench from September 2018-March 2023.
           He is currently Presiding as District and Sessions Judge, Phek.
